Quality: We guarantee that our dahlia tubers and rooted dahlia cuttings have been stored and handled with care. At the time of shipment, all tubers and cuttings were inspected and observed to have either active eyes or abundant roots on cuttings. Because these are living things, there is a certain degree of uncertainty and all dahlia tuber and cutting sales are final.

Keep in mind that not all tubers are beautiful and they come in all shapes and sizes. As long as there is an active eye, the variety of traits found amongst tubers is normal and will not affect their performance to grow and bloom.

If you have concerns about the quality of tuber or cutting you received, send an email to lovingtonacres@gmail.com within 5 days of delivery with your order number and pictures if applicable. This communication must be established with us prior to planting your tuber or cutting.

Liability and Responsibility: once tubers and cuttings are in your care, their responsibility shifts to you as the grower. We are not responsible at this point for how your tubers are stored, planting conditions, weather damage, pest pressure, rot or failure after planting, rot or failure prior to planting due to delay, or losses related to attempting to create cuttings and potting up your tuber or cutting.

Incorrect Variety: We have a structured end of season harvest and early season inventory process. We do our best to ensure accurate labeling and storage at every step, however mistakes can happen. Usually, if we notice an unidentified tuber out of place, no assumptions are made and these tubers are either planted in our for fun patch and not placed in inventory stock. If you believe you received an inaccurate variety, send an email to lovingtonacres@gmail.com before the third week of September and include your order number and clear images of the plant in bloom. If confirmed, a refund or replacement procedure for the following spring will be decided at the discretion of Lovington Acres Farm.

Disease: Despite our best practices in handling, harvesting, dividing, and storing of dahlias, these are living organism and always carry a certain inherent risk of unknown plant disease transmission. According to research from the American Dahlia Society, a large percentage of healthy asymptomatic dahlias may carry dormant viruses unknown to the grower, Lovington Acres Farm. No grower can every guarantee a virus-free stock.
